The 12th edition of the nationwide fleet plebiscite Fleet Derby 2023(www.fleetderby.pl) has been launched. The plebiscite showcases market suppliers and their fleet products and services supporting car fleet management and electromobility. Entries are accepted until the end of March 2023 in 45 sub-categories. The exclusive organiser of the plebiscite is the editors of the monthly magazine 'Fleet.Auto w firmie" monthly magazine.

The Fleet Derby plebiscite has enjoyed recognition in the fleet industry for 12 years. Each year it breaks popularity records in terms of the number of nominees and votes collected. A nationwide promotional campaign, lasting more than six months, raises awareness and recognition of the companies and their services entered in the plebiscite, which shape the fleet market and have a real impact on the development of the automotive, fleet and electromobility industry.

Voting in the plebiscite takes place online via www.fleetderby.pl and lasts for 6 months (until 11 June 2023). Votes can be cast by fleet managers, representatives of company car fleet management in multinational and Polish companies, as well as people who have an influence on the automotive, purchasing and financial policy in companies.

What fleet innovations will be entered into the Fleet Derby 2023, and which categories will attract the most interest? We will find out soon, and in the meantime we present the most important information and novelties planned for the twelfth edition of the plebiscite and invite you to participate.

News from Fleet Derby 2023
In 2023, the poll will have eight main categories and as many as 45 subcategories.

Completely new, will be the 'Mobility' category, in which automotive concerns can enter their latest zero- or low-emission car models, divided into passenger cars and vans, and separately also environmentally friendly trucks and buses. In addition, it is also possible here to submit communication and transport solutions that enable short distances to be covered - generally the first or last kilometre/mile, including, among others, lightweight electric-powered vehicles such as e-bikes, scooters or electric scooters. Any propulsion system designed to reduce combustion and air emissions will be considered.

Innovative categories include: "Fleet Ecomark", where automotive, fleet and e-mobility companies can submit initiatives as part of their electromobility development strategy and innovative electrification solutions, or "Low emission fleet", where submissions will be accepted for environmentally friendly fleets that have electric, hybrid or alternative fuel (LNG, CNG, LPG) vehicles in their fleet, meeting the latest emission standards. Fleet managers who carry out activities aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions, implement environmentally friendly solutions and pursue a modern policy supporting electromobility will, on the other hand, be nominated in the 'Eco Fleet Manager' category .

The 'Chargers and Charging Networks' category has also been updated, where companies will be able to nominate not only electric car chargers, networks and charging stationselectric cars, hubs, as well as state-of-the-art solutions and services for using charging stations from different operators with a single account/card, and renewable and alternative energy sources.

A noteworthy category already characterised by rationalised services - 'Digital technologies for fleets'- will showcase digital solutions, cutting-edge technologies, additional on-demand features and innovative fleet services to support car fleet management, including mobile apps, fleet startups and telematics programmes.

Also new will be the subcategories in the most popular plebiscite category for years - 'Fleet Product/Service'. This is where, among others, the following are submitted. This is where, among others, fuel cards (in the new edition of the plebiscite, divided into national and international cards and those for alternative fuels), relaunching or fleet dealers, tyre services, insurance, financial and service programmes and solutions that improve safety or facilitate the work of a fleet manager and support the management of company cars are entered. In 2023, companies will additionally be able to enter their green fleet solutions and post-contract car showrooms.

The 'Professional Fleet Sales Support' category , which made its debut in the previous edition, will be open to companies that offer comprehensive and professional fleet services intended not for final customers, but for importers, dealers, CFM companies, including, among others. These include, among others, the delivery of vehicle components to factories, through the collection, retrofitting, storage and distribution of finished vehicles; right through to their insurance, detailing and post-life value assessment. Entries can also be made by companies without which the fleet car business would not exist, i.e. companies offering bodywork and conversion of commercial vehicles.

As in previous years, the Fleet Derby 2023 poll will have categories: "Fleet Team of the Year", in which market suppliers will present their teams of experts, advisors and managers to support the daily work of the fleet manager, and "Automotive Fleet Brand", in which all car brands available on the Polish market take part, and where the Polish representation of automotive concerns that offer passenger cars and commercial vehicles (up to 3.5t GVW) is evaluated.
